Mining and processing can affect water. Regular testing of mine effluent and nearby water helps operations monitor their environmental impact and report as required.
What testing covers
- Physicochemical analysis: measurements of the water’s chemistry, such as pH and dissolved substances.
- Microbiological analysis: tests for micro-organisms in the water.
