Testing recovery in a bottle
A bottle roll test is a simple laboratory test used to see how well gold and silver can be recovered by leaching.
How it works
A ground sample is mixed with a leaching solution in a sealed bottle, and the bottle is rolled so the mixture stays in contact. Solution samples are taken during the test and measured, and the leftover solids can be analysed at the end.
What it shows
The results show how much gold and silver dissolves, and how fast. This helps optimize leaching performance before committing to a process.
RVA Labs offers bottle roll and leach testing, as well as BLEG and carbon activity and gold-on-carbon analysis.
